We dare say that Valco headphones offer unrivalled value for money and a listening experience that is in a class of its own at this price point.

If all goes well, in 2025 we may have the world's first headphones made in Finland. Perhaps uniquely in the world, Valco headphones also have an official aftermarket – you can trade in your old pair for new ones!

Do be prepared to pay customs duties if you live in a developing country such as Switzerland or Norway. Thanks to Brexit, the United Kingdom is now a developing country too.

In fact, if you live in Europe outside the EU (i.e. in the UK), it almost makes sense to order the headphones through our reseller Thomann.

Throughout the warranty period we fight tooth and nail to make sure you can fully enjoy your Valco headphones (or our other audio products).

Our loyal minions answer your emails, chat with you on Facebook and keep you company on lonely evenings.

We believe good customer service – after the purchase too – is the best way to market products.

And when the warranty is over, you can still get spare parts from us and have your headphones repaired good as new for a nominal fee for as long as this outfit exists.

Please remember, though, that the headphones should be intact and clean when returned. We don't want your earwax or dandruff any more than anyone else does.

If for some reason you end up returning your purchase, let customer service know (so we can pay the money back to the right place) and send the product back. That's it. We won't harass you or ask silly questions.

Naturally, if there's anything we could do better, we're happy to hear your ideas.

What makes the Valco VMK25.2 special is that we've combined top-tier components, a touch of Finnish design and Kesthouse's more than 20 years of experience in mastering music and polishing sound.

The result is a balanced, accurate and pleasant sound, effective noise cancelling and a 55-hour battery life.

And all of this at roughly half the price of equivalent headphones from the big brands.

We dare to claim that the VMK25.2 offers exceptional value for money and one of the best listening experiences in its class.

And you don't have to take our word for it. Read the reviews or ask our customers. They say the same.

Unlike our competitors, we also care about what happens to the headphones after you've given us your money.

You get a full two-year warranty, replacement pads and a repair service practically until the end of the world. That's why most of the Valco headphones we've ever sold are still in use.

And on top of everything, our headphones are, of course, properly greenwashed.

For years we got feedback we didn't take seriously at first: your headphones are good, but too big. People with smaller heads tightened the headband all the way down, and the cups still dangled around their jawline.

So we made the VMK15. An on-ear model, about 200 grams, buttons hidden under the fabric surface and the same Jasse tuning as in our bigger models. The price is 139 euros, because we assumed you can't decently ask for more for smaller headphones.

Then Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung's Kaufkompass tested 48 on-ear headphones and picked the VMK15 as the winner of the entire comparison. We didn't design a test winner. We designed headphones for people the others don't fit. The win came as a bonus.

Below you'll find the reasoning, the reviewers' scores and one genuinely weaker point, which we'll tell you about ourselves before someone else beats us to it.

P.S. Light and folding down small, the VMK15 also makes an excellent travel companion: headphones for travel.
