VMK25 Megadeth

Not just a sticker

The design was made together with the band. Underneath is the familiar VMK25.

Metal between your ears

A skull on the cups, the Megadeth logo on the headband and function prompts in Dave Mustaine's voice. Underneath is the familiar VMK25: hybrid noise cancelling, up to 50 hours of battery and a hard-shell case.

What is this? The VMK25 noise-cancelling headphones as a Megadeth edition. An official, licensed collaboration: the logo and colour scheme were designed together with the band. The technology is the same as in the regular VMK25. The differences are in the looks, the packaging and the voice.

Dave Mustaine speaks. Power on, Bluetooth connected and the other function prompts are in Dave Mustaine's voice. It is the biggest difference from the regular VMK25. Completely unnecessary feature, which is exactly why it is good.

Sound and noise cancelling. 45 mm drivers, Qualcomm Bluetooth and active hybrid noise cancelling. The battery lasts up to 50 hours with noise cancelling, and USB-C charges it fully in 2 to 3 hours. With the included 3.5 mm cable the headphones also work wired.

Order without the risk. A hard-shell carrying case is included. Shipping is free, the home trial lasts 14 days and the warranty is 2 years. Service is available after the warranty too. The price is higher than the regular VMK25 because the official licence costs money and part of the price goes to the band.

FAQ

Yes, and that's the whole point. It's a licensed edition designed together with the band, not a logo slapped on afterward. You can find cheaper fan merch out there, but none of it plays music.

It does. Dave Mustaine recorded the voice prompts himself, so when you power these on, the frontman of Megadeth talks straight into your ear. You cannot buy this anywhere else at any price. There is exactly one headphone on the planet with Mustaine's voice in it, and you are looking at it.

The tech is identical: hybrid ANC, 45 mm drivers, and up to 50 hours of battery. The difference is the look, the box, and Mustaine's voice. The sound is tuned by Jasse like on every other Valco, so yes, you can also use these to listen to smooth jazz. We won't tell anyone.

Because an official license isn't free. The band gets their cut, we take ours, and the rest goes toward the Death Star. The internals are exactly the same, so you're not just paying for a logo.

Yes. Two year warranty, and after that a flat 69 euro repair no matter what's wrong, shipping both ways included. The Megadeth cover doesn't change a thing about service.
